If you have been following this blog, then you know that I am starting a 21 day challenge to a closer walk with God. Today is my commitment day. I preached about it at church in the AM service, and taught about it in the PM service. I then publicly committed to a 21 day Daniel fast. It was amazing to see God at work. We had a man get saved in the morning service, several commit to the fast in the PM service, and we took on a total of 3 missionaries for monthly support. It was great! As I embark on this 21 day Challenge To A Closer Walk With God, I had to take into consideration what  I need God for in my life. Yes, I want to help people. Yes, I want to get closer to God. And yes, I have things in my life that I need God’s Power to accomplish. I am publicly stating these things because when it’s all said and done, I want people to know that God is alive and well. As a pastor, God has led me to preach a certain way with certain motives for the Glory of God. While God leads, sometimes He does things to make us look up.
