As you know, we started a Daniel Fast in our church. God has been faithful to see how we have “chastened” ourselves before the LORD. Yesterday was my official commitment as well as challenge to a 21 Day Challenge To A Closer Walk With God. I had my last “pleasant” meal, drank my last latte and had my last Pepsi. So my wife went shopping to find some foods that are qualified for such a fast. We started the day with bland malt-o-meal, dry toast, and water. 21 Day Challenge To A Closer Walk With God – Day 1

If you have been following this blog, then you know that I am starting a 21 day challenge to a closer walk with God. Today is my commitment day. I preached about it at church in the AM service, and taught about it in the PM service. I then publicly committed to a 21 day Daniel fast. It was amazing to see God at work. We had a man get saved in the morning service, several commit to the fast in the PM service, and we took on a total of 3 missionaries for monthly support. It was great!
